Meng-GARMIN-kan Dopod D810

Setelah baca berkali-kali artikel dibawah ini, akhirnya mulai juga untuk utak-atik GPS di Dopod D810. Selama ini emang cuma install Mapking R10 saja yang udah pernah dicoba.

Terus ternyata harus dimodifikasi untuk Dopod D810 seperti dibawah ini
Dopod D810 (Built-In GPS)

using GPSProxy 2.2a
Menu > Extension

1. GPS Provider: NMEA Input
   
2. Select “Configure”
   
3. GPS COM Port: COM9 (Internal GPS NMEA)
   
4. Output COM Port: COM2
   

Menu > Extension

1. Select “Garmin Protocol Output”
   
2. Select “Configure” button at the bottom of the screen
   
3. Application COM Port: COM2
   
4. Menu > Virtual COM Ports
   
5. Add COM2. You should see just one Com port here. If you see more than one, remove the extra.
   

Menu > Settings > Launch

1. Tick "Start Proxy Automatically on Launch" if you want GPSProxy to start automatically
   
2. Tick "Run External App after Proxy Startup" if you want Que to starts up after GPSProxy is running.
   

Garmin Que Setting

1. Menu > Settings > Garmin Que > Interface
   
2. GPS Device: GPS 10 Bluetooth
   
3. Communications Port: GPSProxy Virtual COM Port on COM2
   

Others

1. Common problem:"Error loading virtual COM port driver for COM2", to resolve;
   
2. turn off the HT-Toolbars. To turn it off, Settings>Today>Items>Untick the httoolbars (the last entry).
